Predictions of the Great Apostasy from the Catholic Church St. Antony of Egypt (251-356)

“Men will surrender to the spirit of the age. They will say that if they had lived in our day, faith would be simple and easy. But in their day, they will say, things are complex; the Church must be brought up to date and made meaningful to the day’s problems. When the Church and the World are one, then those days are at hand. Because our Divine Master placed a barrier between His things and the things of the world.”
“A time is coming when men will go mad, and when they see someone who is not mad, they will attack him, saying: ‘You are mad; you are not like us.'”
St. Dominic (1170-1221)
Blessed Virgin Mary to Saint Dominic, “One Day through the Rosary and Scapular I will save the World”- These words would not be spoken by the Blessed Virgin Mary unless her Son was not readily available in the Blessed Sacrament. Our Lady would confirm this warning at Fatima (1917) by appearing as Our Lady of the Rosary and ending these apparitions as Our Lady of Mt. Carmel wearing the brown habit of the Carmelites and holding the Brown Scapular.
St. Francis of Assisi (1181-1226)
Shortly before he died, St. Francis of Assisi called together his followers and warned them of the coming troubles, saying:
1. “The time is fast approaching in which there will be great trials and afflictions; perplexities and dissensions, both spiritual and temporal, will abound; the charity of many will grow cold, and the malice of the wicked will increase.
2. The devils will have unusual power, the immaculate purity of our Order, and of others, will be so much obscured that there will be very few Christians who will obey the true Sovereign Pontiff and the Roman Church with loyal hearts and perfect charity. At the time of this tribulation a man, not canonically elected, will be raised to the Pontificate, who, by his cunning, will endeavor to draw many into error and death.”3. Then scandals will be multiplied, our Order will be divided, and many others will be entirely destroyed, because they will consent to error instead of opposing it.
3. There will be such diversity of opinions and schisms among the people, the religious and the clergy, that, except those days were shortened, according to the words of the Gospel, even the elect would be led into error, were they not specially guided, amid such great confusion, by the immense mercy of God.
4. Then our Rule and manner of life will be violently opposed by some, and terrible trials will come upon us. Those who are found faithful will receive the crown of life; but woe to those who, trusting solely in their Order, shall fall into tepidity, for they will not be able to support the temptations permitted for the proving of the elect.
5. Those who preserve their fervor and adhere to virtue with love and zeal for the truth, will suffer injuries and, persecutions as rebels and schismatics; for their persecutors, urged on by the evil spirits, will say they are rendering a great service to God by destroying such pestilent men from the face of the earth, but the Lord will be the refuge of the afflicted, and will save all who trust in Him. And in order to be like their Head, Christ, these, the elect, will act with confidence, and by their death will purchase for themselves eternal life; choosing to obey God rather than man, they will fear nothing, and they will prefer to perish rather than consent to falsehood and perfidy.
6. Some preachers will keep silence about the truth, and others will trample it under foot and deny it. Sanctity of life will be held in derision even by those who outwardly profess it, for in those days Jesus Christ will send them not a true Pastor, but a destroyer.”

St. John Bosco (1815-1888)
“Your sons ask for the bread of Faith and no one gives it to them . . . Ungrateful Rome, effeminate Rome, arrogant Rome . . . Forgetting that the Sovereign Pontiffs and your true glory are on Golgotha . . . Woe to you; my law is an idle word for you.”
“There will be an Ecumenical Council in the next century, after which there will be chaos in the Church.” This prediction was made in 1862
BLESSED Anne Catherine Emmerich (1774-1824)
Anna Katerina Emmerick (Anne Catherine Emmerich) was a German mystic who was favored with extensive revelations. Six weeks after her death, upon a rumor that her body had been stolen, she was disinterred and found to be incorrupt.
“The Church is the only one, the Roman Catholic! And if there were left upon earth but one Catholic, he would be the one, universal Church, the Catholic Church, the Church of Jesus Christ against which the gates of Hell shall never prevail.”
“I saw also the relationship between the two popes… I saw how baleful (evil; harmful) would be the consequences of this false church. I saw it increase in size; heretics of every kind came into the city (of Rome) … Once more I saw the Church of Peter was undermined by a plan evolved by the secret sect (Masonry), while storms were damaging it.”
“I saw a secret sect relentlessly undermining the great Church… When the Church had been for the most part destroyed (by the secret sect), and when only the sanctuary and the altar were still standing, I saw the wreckers (of the secret sect) enter the Church with the Beast.”
“I saw an apparition of the Mother of God, and she said that the tribulation would be very great. She added that these people must pray fervently with outstretched arms… They must pray above all for the Church of Darkness to leave Rome.”
“The Church is in great danger… I see that in this place (Rome) the (Catholic) Church is being so cleverly undermined, that there will hardly remain a hundred or so priests who have not been deceived. They all work for destruction, even the clergy. The great devastation is now at hand.”
“When I saw the Church of St. Peter in ruins, and the manner in which so many of the clergy were themselves busy at this work of destruction – none of them wishing to do it openly in front of others – I was in such distress that I cried out to Jesus with all my might, imploring His mercy. Then, I saw before me the Heavenly Spouse… He said, among other things, that this translation of the Church from one place to another meant that She would seem to be in complete decline. But She would rise again; even if there remained but one Catholic, the Church would conquer again because She does not rest on human counsels and intelligence. It was also shown to me that there were almost no Christians left in the old acceptation of the word.”
“The Church is completely isolated and as if completely deserted. It seems that everyone is running away.”
“Among the strangest things that I saw, were long processions of bishops. Their thoughts and utterances were made known to me through images issuing from their mouths. Their faults towards religion were shown by external deformities. A few had only a body, with a dark cloud of fog instead of a head. Others had only a head, their bodies and hearts were like thick vapors. Some were lame; others were paralytics; others were asleep or staggering.”
“I saw what I believe to be nearly all the bishops of the world, but only a small number were perfectly sound…”
“Then I saw that everything that pertained to Protestantism was gradually gaining the upper hand, and the Catholic religion fell into complete decadence…”
“In those days, Faith will fall very low, and it will be preserved in some places only, in a few cottages and in a few families which God has protected from disasters and wars.”
“I saw that many pastors allowed themselves to be taken up with ideas that were dangerous to the Church. They were building a great, strange, and extravagant Church. Everyone was to be admitted in it in order to be united and have equal rights: Evangelicals, Catholics, sects of every description. Such was to be the new Church…”
“I heard that Lucifer (if I am not mistaken) will be freed again for awhile fifty or sixty years before the year 2,000 AD.”
“a false church, and wicked men scheming against the Catholic Church and doing much harm–both in her own time and in the future. And actually saw in a vision this, the enemies of the Church tearing it down and trying to build a new one on strictly human plans–but none of the saints would lend a hand. Later, this church of men is destroyed and the saints of God join in to rebuild the true Church of God, which becomes more glorious than ever before.”
Marie-Julie Jahenny (1850-1941)
Our Lord warns about our present times
These messages received by a privileged soul in regard to the changes that would be coming in the Catholic Church in the second half of the 20th century, especially in the new liturgy. Marie-Julie Jahenny might very well be the greatest mystic and stigmatist woman in the history of the Catholic Church. Marie-Julie Jahenny, the mystic and Stigmatist of La Fraudais, was born on the 12th of February, 1850, in a little village in Brittany (in the West of France), called Blain. The eldest of five children, she was brought up by her simple, good parents in that lively faith for which Bretons are renowned.
Our Lord favored her with many graces from the time of her First Holy Communion, graces to which she corresponded with ever increasing devotion. She joined the Franciscan Lay Third Order when in her early twenties, to help to sanctify herself in the world. In 1873, she received from Heaven that most remarkable mystic gift, the Stigmata. From the age of twenty-three until her death, some sixty years later, she bore in her body the Wounds of Our Lord to a more visible degree than had any other stigmatist in the Church’s history. In addition to the Five Wounds of the Sacred Hands, Feet and Side, Marie-Julie suffered the Wounds inflicted by the Crown of Thorns and the Cross on Our Lord’s Sacred Head and Shoulder respectively, the Wounds of His Scourging, those caused by the ropes with which He was bound, as well as other Wounds of a more mystic nature. Henceforth, Marie-Julie lived her life of co-redemptive suffering (as a victim soul) in a little cottage in the hamlet of La Fraudais, near Blain. She thus fulfilled Our Blessed Lord’s desire for her to make reparation for the sins of France and the world. She was favored with frequent visions of Jesus and Mary, as well as many prophetic lights. The truth of the Heavenly warnings of which she was to be the humble messenger was vindicated by her characteristic simplicity and honesty, her exemplary obedience to her spiritual directors and her Bishop, and of course, by the fulfillment of all she prophesied during her long life. With unfailing accuracy she foretold the two World Wars, the election of Pope Saint Pius X, the various persecutions of the Church, the chastisements and the fate of apostate France. Much remains to unfold. Her warnings for the Last Times should be read by all “who have ears.”
Marie-Julie was the wonder of the many scientists who examined her continually, the scorn of unbelievers and the proud, the admiration of her lifelong friend, Monsignor Fourier, Bishop of Nantes, and of the devoted circle of those who made the diffusion of her messages to an ungrateful and unheeding world their life’s work. She went to her Heavenly reward on March 4, 1941. Blind, deaf, dumb and crippled, she had subsisted miraculously on the Blessed Sacrament alone, for the last many years of her life. Surely then, we will not pass over lightly what God has confided to her for the benefit of our own sad days.
September 28, 1880
She assisted at a dialogue between Our Lord and Lucifer and the latter said:
“I will attack the Church. I will overthrow the Cross, I will decimate the people, I will deposit a great weakness of Faith in hearts. There will also be a great denial of religion. For a time I will be master of all things, everything will be under my control; even your temple and all your people.”
Saint Michael says that Satan will have possession of everything for some time and that he will reign completely over everything; that all goodness, Faith, Religion will be buried in the tomb. Satan and his own will triumph with joy, but after this triumph, the Lord will in His turn gather His own people and will reign and triumph over evil and will raise up from the tomb the buried Church, the prostrated Cross.
And the Head of the Heavenly Armies, St. Michael adds: “Here is my fiery sword, I want to lend it to the friends of the Sacred Heart and offer them this sword for the fight because the time is not far off when all of you faithful people will have to take up the arms of Faith and courage to fight against the relentless pursuit of hell and the vengeance of men.”

“All the works approved by the infallible Church will at a certain moment, cease to exist as they are at this present time. They will have lost nothing of their greatness, but they will be as if non-existing. That period will not last long but it will seem like an eternity for the children of the Church who will become like orphans.”
She frequently announced that “the enemies of the Church would penetrate into its bosom and perpetrate horrible scandals and thrust the sword into the heart of the Church. Rage has never been greater.”
June 3, 1880
During the ecstasy of the 3rd of June 1880, Our Lord describes how Lucifer will proceed, He will address priests: You will dress in a large red cloak. We will give you a piece of bread and a few drops of water. You can do with it everything that you did when you belonged to Christ.
And hell had added: We will permit you to say it in all houses and even under the firmament.
Marie-Julie said, “I see for a time long enough, every Holy Sacrifice will be prohibited.Churches will be turned to a shelter for cattle; they will be used as pleasure halls, where Hell will come for dancing with blasphemies as their singing.”
“My Children, says the Lord, Let nothing surprise you. No remains whatsoever will be left of the Holy Sacrifice, no apparent trace of faith.”
Marie-Julie Jahenny wrote: “Confusion will prevail everywhere. People will be dispersed around, like mad from pan and murder. Things will be in a worse condition than any period of the past saw that there will not remain any vestige of the Holy Sacrifice, no apparent trace of faith.
Many will still retain their faith, but it will not be strong enough to remain steadfast, when they will be seeing what nobody can imagine.” February 11, 1881
The Blessed Virgin Mary begins, “My children they are going to outrage my Divine Son. A time will come when sound doctrine will be trampled underfoot, covered with an awful mud.Already they have prepared everything. Even previous to the great crisis, they are going to devise unwholesome doctrines, and Hell’s pen dipped in the venom of damned souls, is going to reproduce them.” That criminal doctrine is going to poison young hearts whom I love tenderly. True faith will be thrown aside.”
March 24, 1881
She added: Those who have served Me well and invoked Me, who have my blessed picture in their house, who carry my rosary on them and say it often I will keep intact all that belongs to them. The heat from Heaven will be unbearably hot, even in the closed homes. The whole sky will be on fire, but the lightning will not penetrate into the houses where there will be the light of the blessed candle. This light is the only thing that will protect you.

“From the height of My Glory, I see eagerly joining that religion, culprit, sacrilege, wicked, in a word that religion similar to Mohamed…I see BISHOPS joining.”
“For earth sake, I will lose a large number of My priests; the faithful will die in their faith, rather than joining that infamous religion.”

“You are about to see those who govern the Church… giving their lives and their strength to those who will ESTABLISH A FATAL GOVERNMENT… they will close the sanctuaries…and surrender to the disorders of hell.”
“The worst sins will be committed without shame or regret…the greater number of priests WILL TURN TO THE SIDE OF EVIL.”

“I understood that the angels would carry away many tabernacles from the churches to shield the Holy Sacrament from the outrages.”

The Apostle Peter says: “The Church will know of suffering before it is entirely closed. It will undergo the direst outrages, not to mention those of a large number of its children who will deny it, by reason of their attachment to promises on the part of men who will break their own word; that will break anything that can be found of the most sacred; who will treat the Son of God with the most abominable words. The number of those souls, forever separated from God, so to speak, will rise beyond the three quarters.”
The Apostle cries while saying: “The Church will not perish, but it is going to suffer. Its misfortunes will burst out to a height which will rend apart the heart of anybody loving it. It will be suffering for a long time, suffering everywhere… for a still longer period outside this country of France; because, here, the afflictions will be shortened, they will reach great depths in their short duration.”
October 26, 1882
On the 26th of October 1882, Our Lord announced a schism of the Church in France with Rome: “The heart of the diocese of. . . will revolt and will not be pacified. It’s cries and menacing words will make the strong tremble. In the days when the gloom of the great vengeance will surround the people with struggles and conflicts, this pastor, like the others will not submit to orders of the Roman Pontiff… When the power of mortal men — soiled, corrupt men who are threatened with a terrible death — when this power will order a FRIGHTFUL RELIGION in the whole Kingdom. I see only a small number enter this religion that will make the whole world tremble. From the height of My glory, I see joining with alacrity this guilty, infamous, sacrilegious religion. I see Bishops joining. On seeing these many, many Bishops. Ah! My Heart is wounded to death — and the whole flock following them, all of it without hesitation, hastening to damnation and hell, My Heart is wounded to death as at the time of My Passion. Others will follow these French Bishops. If I tell you that to found this infamous and accursed religion, the Bishops and priests will not leave off at the second call. You may be sure, my children, that the bishops and priests will not be in favor of the ONE I HAVE DESTINED TO RAISE UP YOUR COUNTRY, there will be very, very few in favor of him. THEY WILL BE AGAINST THE KING.”

“Thunder is roaring around the Vicar of Christ. An assembly of the Fathers of the Church will put up its councils in opposition to the Father of the Universe.”

“Within a short time daughter, only a few priests will be left, who will obey the luminous voice which is the command of all men on earth, as the chief of the most Holy Church.”
November 27, 1902 and May 10, 1904
Our Lord and Our Lady announced the conspiracy to invent the “New Mass”:
“I give you a WARNING. The disciples who are not of My Gospel are now working hard to remake according to their ideas and under the influence of the enemy of Souls a MASS that contains words that are ODIOUS in my sight. When the fatal hour arrives when the faith of my priests is put to the test, it will be (these texts) that will be celebrated in this second period.
The First period is the one of my priesthood which exists since Me. The second is the one of the persecution when the enemies of the Faith and of Holy Religion will impose their formulas in the book of the second celebration. These infamous spirits are those who crucified Me and are awaiting the kingdom of the NEW MESSIAH!”

On 10th of May 1904, Our Lady denotes the new clergy and its Mass:
“They will not stop at this hateful and sacrilegious road. They will go further to compromise all at once and in one go, the Holy Church, the clergy and the Faith of my children.” She announces the, “Dispersion of the pastors by the Church itself; real pastors who will be replaced by others formed by hell, initiated in all vices, all iniquities, perfidious, who will cover souls with filth. New preachers of new sacraments, new temples, new baptisms, new confraternities.”

Our Lady said: “This time had to come for them, BECAUSE THERE HAD TO BE A REIGN OF EVIL ON EARTH BEFORE THE DIVINE REIGN” and on 19th of September 1901, she added that these revelations will be realized (Our Lady of LaSalette), these great promises that the “VERY HEADS OF THE CHURCH DESPISED. THEY DID NOT WANT TO SEE THE LIGHT. It is useless for the clergy to have illusions about the CROOKED ROADS AND THE ABANDONMENT OF MENTAL and VOCAL PRAYER. The poor people who understand have left the Church and seek diversion elsewhere … the poor people, poor France and poor clergy have lost the TRUE LIGHT OF ETERNAL WISDOM because of their selfishness.”
Marie-Julie also announces that at the time of the last crisis: “a large number of souls will be obsessed and possessed by the infernal spirit and to exorcise these souls, a great number of penances and mortifications will be required from the Fathers of the Church that Heaven will subject to this harsh trial;” and she added : “when the prayer of the Church commands the infernal spirit to leave, let us never be without the Cross on us which is the invincible weapon which overthrows him and forces him to return to hell.”

Our Lord replies to Marie-Julie who begs Him not to send punishments: “My daughter, sinners are too numerous and too guilty. They have abused My graces. Especially those who have my adorable Body at their disposition because of their state, and profane it. NO I CAN NO LONGER FORGIVE, JUSTICE HAS TO BE DONE, SOON YOU WILL NEED ALL YOUR FAITH.”
October 11, 1904
She specifies: “The just are the sieve of Jesus. But they are certain of the joy of seeing Him and of forming His glorious court. I can do nothing more, pray, this is the only remedy, which will be the strong food of souls.
On the same day Our Lord added in His turn: “My Heart is breaking. I seek pure souls to transpierce with the swords that pierced Mine at the first Passion. All these swords will pierce one by one all the victims of Jesus. Suffering is necessary, crosses are necessary. (It will be so terrible) that it will be unbearable to live on earth. Martyr after martyr, cruelty after cruelty, tyrant after tyrant, stake upon stake, tyranny upon tyranny.”
January 5, 1904
Jesus states: “The souls who love Me will see . . . My temple overthrown and in other places such filthy desecrations that the preceding centuries had never seen.”
August 4, 1904
“I sustain my elect, I am their strength, I put them to the test now to console them later at the time of desolation, of abomination. At that time I will uphold them… I will be their King, they will be my subjects. Do not expect any improvement; on the contrary you will see EVIL GROWING CONTINUOUSLY, unjust disorders multiplying. . . Until the time that I rise up in my turn.”
Marie-Julie announced that three quarters of the population of the globe will disappear in the last crisis; terrible earthquakes, epidemics of unknown diseases whose ravages would be frightful, terrible famines, inclement weather, cyclones, rising seas that would cause terrifying tidal waves.
The last crisis will be divided in three parts:
The first, long and painful when divine vengeance will be manifested during which the most guilty will be destroyed. This blow of justice will only irritate them.
The second will be shorter but more formidable, more sinister: “My Divine Son, seeing that all these blows cannot bring back His people to pardon and mercy — lost souls — will strike again more fearfully.”
The third: “Everything must be lost from top to bottom. That, my dear children, is when Saint Michael the Archangel, who is awaiting orders from Heaven, will descend with his armies to fight with my good children, the true and good children of victory. Justice will pass everywhere during all this time you will not have the Bread of the Strong. No Apostles, you will have ONLY YOUR FAITH as food, My Divine Son as Sovereign Priest to forgive you.”
January 4, 1884
And Marie-Julie announced the three days of darkness during which the infernal powers will be loosed and will execute all the enemies of God. “The EARTH WILL BECOME LIKE A VAST CEMETERY. The bodies of the wicked and the just will cover the ground.
The famine will be great… Everything will be thrown into confusion… The crisis will explode suddenly; the punishments will be shared by all and will succeed one another without interruption.
The three days of darkness – will be on a Thursday, Friday, Saturday. Days of the Most Holy Sacrament, of the Cross and Our Lady. Three days less one night.
September 20, 1882
Our Lady says: “The Earth Will be covered in darkness and hell will be loosed on Earth. The thunder and lightning will cause those who have no faith or trust in my Power, to die of fear.
During these three days of terrifying darkness, no windows must be opened, because no one will be able to see the earth and the terrible color it will have in those days of punishment without dying at once.
The sky will be on fire, the earth will split. . . During these three days of darkness Let the BLESSED CANDLE be lighted EVERYWHERE, no other light will shine.”
December 8, 1882
No one outside a shelter will survive. The Earth will shake as at the judgment and fear will be great. Yes, We will listen to the prayers of your friends; not one will perish. We will need them to publish the glory of the CROSS.
The candles of blessed wax alone will give light during this horrible darkness. One CANDLE ALONE will be enough for the duration of this NIGHT OF HELL. In the homes of the wicked and blasphemers these candles will give NO LIGHT.
October 17, 1883
Our Lady states: “Everything will shake except the piece of furniture on which the blessed candle is burning. This will not shake. You will all gather around with the crucifix and my blessed picture. This is what will keep away this terror.
During this darkness the devils and the wicked will take on THE MOST HIDEOUS SHAPES… red clouds like blood will move across the sky. The crash of the thunder will shake the earth and sinister lightning will streak the heavens out of season. The earth will be shaken to its foundations. The sea will rise, its roaring waves will SPREAD OVER THE CONTINENT.
The wicked will commit all kinds of horrors. The Holy Hosts will be dispersed on the roads. They will be discovered in the mud. The priests as well as the faithful will pick them up and WILL CARRY THEM ON THEIR BREASTS.
Because of the little respect it has for the apostles of God, the flock grows careless and ceases to observe the laws. The priest himself is responsible for the lack of respect because he does not respect enough his holy ministry, and the place which he occupies in his sacred functions. The flock follows in the footsteps of its pastors; this is a great tragedy.
The clergy will be severely punished on account of their inconceivable fickleness and great cowardice which is incompatible with their functions.
A terrible chastisement has been provided for those who ascend every morning the steps of the Holy Sacrifice. I have not come on your altars to be tortured. I suffer a hundredfold more from such hearts than any of the others. I absolve you from your great sins, My children, but I cannot grant any pardon to these priests.”
She [Marie-Julie Jahenny] says that “those who govern the Flock”, will be responsible for the coming crisis. Apparently, Communism would not have triumphed if the Church had remained faithful. She mentions the growing freedom enjoyed by priests and bishops and how badly they will use it.
She mentions a pope who, at the last moment, will reverse his policies and make a solemn appeal to the Clergy.
But he will not be obeyed; on the contrary, an Assembly of bishops will demand even greater freedom, declaring that they will no longer obey the Pope.
Marie-Julie then goes on to say that the Red Revolution will then break out. She speaks of a “horrible religion” which is to replace the Catholic Faith, and she sees “many, many bishops” embracing this “sacrilegious, infamous religion.”
July 7, 1880
Jesus tells Marie-Julie Jahenny: “The church will be deprived of Her supreme chief that is now the guidance. The Chief of the Church will be offended outrageously.”
In the ecstasy of November 4, 1880 Marie-Julie describes us the martyrdom of the pope: “The voice of the Church, under a veiled sigh, comes to make doors broken of my soul the echo of his dying voice sound. The supreme Pontiff launches an agonizing speech toward his people, toward children of which he is the Father. It is a sword for my soul… I see of white birds to carry away in their beak his blood and of shreds of his flesh. I see the hand of Peter breakthrough by the nail as the one of God. I see his clothes of ceremony pulled in shreds, clothes of which he dresses his dignity to make take down God on the altar. I see all it in my sun. Oh, that I suffer!”
The Prophecy of St. Nilus, who lived around 400 AD:
“After the year 1900, toward the middle of the 20th century, the people of that time will become unrecognizable. When the time for the Advent of the Antichrist approaches, people’s minds will grow cloudy from carnal passions, and dishonor and lawlessness will grow stronger. Then the world will become unrecognizable. People’s appearances will change, and it will be impossible to distinguish men from women due to their shamelessness in dress and style of hair. These people will be cruel and will be like wild animals because of the temptations of the Antichrist. There will be no respect for parents and elders, love will disappear, and Christian pastors, bishops, and priests will become vain men, completely failing to distinguish the right-hand way from the left. At that time the morals and traditions of Christians and of the Church will change. People will abandon modesty, and dissipation will reign. Falsehood and greed will attain great proportions, and woe to those who pile up treasures. Lust, adultery, homosexuality, secret deeds and murder will rule in society.
“At that future time, due to the power of such great crimes and licentiousness, people will be deprived of the grace of the Holy Spirit, which they received in Holy Baptism and equally of remorse.
“The Churches of God will be deprived of God-fearing and pious pastors, and woe to the Christians remaining in the world at that time; they will completely lose their faith because they will lack the opportunity of seeing the light of knowledge from anyone at all. Then they will separate themselves out of the world in holy refuges in search of lightening their spiritual sufferings, but everywhere they will meet obstacles and constraints. And all this will result from the fact that the Antichrist wants to be Lord over everything and become the ruler of the whole universe, and he will produce miracles and fantastic signs. He will also give depraved wisdom to an unhappy man so that he will discover a way by which one man can carry on a conversation with another from one end of the earth to the other. At that time men will also fly through the air like birds and descend to the bottom of the sea like fish. And when they have achieved all this, these unhappy people will spend their lives in comfort without knowing, poor souls, that it is deceit of the Antichrist. And, the impious one! ? he will so complete science with vanity that it will go off the right path and lead people to lose faith in the existence of God in three hypostases.

The Church will sink deeper and deeper until She will at last seem to be extinguished, and the succession of Peter and the other Apostles to have expired. Our Lady of Good Success
In the early 17th century, a Conceptionist nun in Ecuador, Mother Mariana de Jesus Torres (1563–1635), was the recipient of various apparitions from the Mother of God, including many prophecies concerning the 20th century. The fact that these prophecies date back 400 years makes them especially noteworthy. Mother Mariana’s incorrupt body was discovered in 1906 and can still be seen today.
“Thus I make it known to you that from the end of the 19th century and shortly after the middle of the 20th century… It will be difficult to receive the Sacrament of Baptism, and also that of Confirmation… The Catholic spirit will rapidly decay; the precious light of the Faith will gradually be extinguished…”
“Various heresies will be propagated in this land, then a free Republic. As these heresies spread and dominate, the precious light of Faith will be extinguished in souls by the almost total corruption of customs [morals]… The small number of souls who, hidden, will preserve the treasure of the Faith and the virtues will suffer an unspeakably cruel and slow martyrdom…”
“In the 20th century… the corruption of customs will be almost universal and the precious light of Faith all but extinguished.”
Again, referring to the 20th century:
“How the Church will suffer on that occasion – the dark night of the lack of a Prelate1 and Father to watch over them… The lukewarmness of all the souls consecrated to God in the priestly and religious state will delay the coming of this Prelate and Father.”
Our Lady of La Salette
In 1846, the Mother of God appeared to two shepherd children in La Salette, France. She gave them many warnings about how God is going to punish mankind if mankind did not stop sinning. She also made some startling predictions.
Universal relaxation: 
“Lucifer, with a great number of demons will be unchained from Hell. By degrees they shall abolish the Faith, even among persons consecrated to God.”
“In every place there will be extraordinary prodigies, because the true Faith has been extinguished.”
“[T]he abomination shall be seen in holy places, in convents, and then the demon shall make himself the king of hearts.”
Our Lady of Fatima
Perhaps the most well-known of all Marian apparitions, Mary appeared six times to three shepherd children at Fatima, Portugal in 1917. Besides the message of amendment of life, praying the Rosary and doing penance, she entrusted them with three secrets; the only one relative to this article is commonly known as the 3rd Secret of Fatima.
3rd Secret of Fatima – “In Portugal, the dogma of the Faith will always be preserved…
Even setting aside those portions of the 3rd Secret that Modernists are wont to ignore, the segment “in Portugal, the dogma of the Faith will always be preserved” is admitted by all. This partial sentence speaks volumes. What a strange statement to make at a time when essentially every country on the face of the earth had the dogma of the Faith. The implication is clear: Our Lady was, at the very least, forecasting that entire countries would lose the dogma of the Faith, Portugal being an exception.
“Satan rules even in the highest positions and determines the direction of things. He will succeed in worming his way even into the highest summits of the Church…”
“But this will be a time of great trials for the Church. Cardinals will oppose cardinals. Bishops will oppose bishops. Satan will walk in their ranks. In Rome, there will be great changes. What is rotten will fall and what will fall will never rise again. Darkness will envelope the Church and the world will be thrown into a panic.”
The quote given above is taken from a German periodical published in 1963, Neues Europa, and received unofficial approbation in the 1960’s by several Church officials who had read the original 3rd Secret text hand written by Sister Lucia. Among these Church officials was the respected Cardinal Ottovani. The new and “official” version put out by the Vatican in 2006 has been demonstrated to be utterly false.
